Walk and Talk therapy

Feeling confined within the walls of a consult or a therapy room to discuss your most sensitive concerns can feel uninspiring. Alternatively sometimes Zoom fatigue can creep up as well making telehealth therapy feel restrictive.

You don’t have to be confined to buildings or typical therapy rooms. Communing with nature, green spaces, parks and outdoors has been known to have outstanding benefits for our wellbeing. Nature is known to bring peace and grounds us especially when we are feeling overwhelmed.

Therapy out in nature, in a quiet spot where you can sit and chat can be very soothing for many people. Alternatively, if you prefer to have a leisurely walk on the trail amongst the greenery as we progress with therapy you are welcome to try it out subject to your health levels.

The Benefits of Walk and Talk Therapy

After engaging in walk and talk therapy many people have reported:

  • Feeling a sense of calm
  • Feeling grounded despite their issues
  • Feeling inspired by the beauty that nature offers
  • Instantly feeling relaxed and refreshed by their surroundings
  • Having renewed focus on their problems

I am able to provide walk and talk counselling for women who speak Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi as well as English.
